First Ever Microsoft Laptop is launched

Microsoft launched its first ever laptop known as Surface Book, though it doesn’t seem to be like a surface at all. The trackpad of this new laptop is made of glass and it has a 13.5 inch display. The keyword has a backlit and the complete body is made up of magnesium. The unique feature that Microsoft provided in this laptop is that its screen is detachable. That means you can also remove the screen and use it.

Latest generation processors have been used along with Nvidia GPU and have GDDR5 RAM. As per Microsoft, this is the fastest laptop ever made in 13 inch category. This laptop can last long for 12 hours after a full charge. Microsoft also said that the keyword very silent and the display give a good resolution of 267 ppi.

Microsoft compete this device along with MacBook Pro, Lenovo and others instead of iPad and Tablet. The GPU used in this device make it twice faster than the other 13-inch MacBook Pro. We think that the Microsoft is comparing this device in terms of GPU, but we know that a 13-inch MacBook pro doesn’t have a GPU at all.

It’s great that the company managed to fit a long lasting battery in it. Microsoft also used Adobe Premiere Pro in order to show how fast you can edit a video on this laptop. The next thing is the detachable screen which is only 7.7mm in thickness and weights around 1.6 pounds, but if you want to have the full performance from this device, then you must have the base connected. Obviously the screen is a touch screen. So in short it’s a good convertible laptop.

This laptop costs around $1499 if you pre order it before 7 October. You can’t say it’s a cheap device because the price ranges from $1499 to $2699 which totally depends on the configuration.
