Microsoft started off with adding Outlook to the Apple watch, which worked well until the company realized that there weren’t more options for customization in ios. The company has been improving on its Android Wear app ever since and the new update has added some new watch faces.
Rather than just being able to view and follow through your emails, to-do list, the new watch face will bring notifications right on the front screen. The new version will allow the users to respond to messages, look over daily events without having to go to the app itself and see email notifications on the lock screen itself.
Though the watch face will include most of the notifications but it won’t completely take over the front dial, day, date and time will be the default features of the face and all the notifications will be available in the center with a scroll to view more option. Moreover, the company is planning to add a few more things to the android wear app itself by the end of this year. The announcement of shutting down Sunrise certainly indicates that Microsoft is merging all the newly bought companies into one and thus expanding outlook.
